SAUCERY - MAGIC ROCK BREWING

I received this beer as a gift and instantly liked the design/artwork of the can. I knew it was meaningless in terms of whether I would enjoy the contents inside but it made want to like this beer even before i’d opened it. On opening, I noticed a hoppy/citrus aroma that got my taste buds going. A session ale, light yellow in colour with a small pure white head. The first sip revealed an abundant mix of hops and citrus flavours that packed a punch considering its relative low volume of 3.9%. A beer offering a slightly sweet and malty taste with a pleasant bitterness. Adding to this, the fact that some lower volume beers lack a full bodied finish, the Magic Rock Brewery have really worked their magic in producing a session ale full of flavour and relative body.

A welcomed gift, I would definitely welcome again. Highly Recommended.
