HOP, SKIP & JUICE - VOCATION BREWERY & MANCHESTER MARBLE BREWERY COLLABORATION
I was keen to see if this beer was as vibrant in taste as the design on the can. I like these fruity beers, so this would hopefully be right up my street. Hop, Skip & Juice had strong juicy refreshing citrus aromas and once poured into a glass looked tremendous with a cloudy bright yellow body and a strong persistent white head. On pouring carbonation looked strong and the pint looked cracking. On tasting, the tropical character of this beer was apparent with prevailing citrus flavours of mango, orange pith, grape combined with a pleasant dry/smooth bitterness. The bitterness actually left me with a refreshing bitter lemon aftertaste/sensation and I felt a slight warmth from the beer which was lovely. The body is light to medium combined with a light tasting carbonation (looked greater than it tasted) that deliver the tropical flavours of the Simcoe and Citra BBC hops well. At 5.7% the pint certainly was refreshing and vibrant whilst supping in the sun. Thoroughly enjoyed this fruity edition!
It was certainly up there with the very best for me!
A must!
