HAZY JANE - BRREWDOG

After a bad day and running out of beer in the evening, I was ever so grateful to receive this can from a friend. Cheers Scott! The multinational brewery Brewdog often divides opinion so I was keen to give this brew a shot. On opening, the beer had plenty of fresh fruity grapefruit/mango aromas and smelt really tropical. The can itself has ‘Embrace the Opaque’ running down its side so I was hoping for a thick cloudy pint and I must say it did not disappoint on that front. On pouring the beer had a fantastic opaque pale yellow colouration (like custard) with a strong white head. A truly outstanding looking NEIPA. On tasting the beer was full of fruity mango and grapefruit tropical flavours combined with a strong carbonation, smooth bitterness and ending with that distinctive underlying Brewdog taste. There is no denying the beer had excellent juicy tropical flavours and was very refreshing at 5%. This beer hinges on whether you like that Brewdog aftertaste. If your a Brewdog fan and enjoy their distinctive tasting beers, this is a winner.
