THE FEELS VOL. 3 - POLLY’S BREW CO

Talk about leaving the best until last. This was the last beer of my Polly’s Brew Co delivery and it was superb. In fact it’s now my joint best beer of 2020. ‘The Light Grey One’ from Cloudwater was tremendous and a totally different beast altogether but this was something special I did really enjoy. ‘The Feels Vol. 3’ looked a classic Polly with an opaque vibrant yellow body and a small persistent white head. On pouring sweet tropical aromas were obvious. The body and mouthfeel of this beer sets it apart. The use of oats and lactose have worked absolute wonders and created an unbelievably smooth and creamy beer which is complimented by a light spritzer styled carbonation. On tasting, a fruity combination of pineapple, orange and underlying grapefruit flavours worked their magic. There were even hints of blueberry at the end which were lovely and emphasised by the fact that the bitterness was so unbelievably subtle/low with only a hint of grapefruit. This was a fantastic juicy edition with a combination of lovely fruity flavours which were emphasised by such a low bitterness. The bitterness didn’t distract you from the main fruity flavours making it a such a refreshing And easy drinking juice bomb at 6.2%. This was so good I’ve ordered some more before it runs out as I’m certain this will be a big hit.

Absolutely tremendous. Joint best I’ve had of 2020.
