SUSPENDED IN CANS - CRAFT SIREN BREW
I had heard a lot about the quality beers at Siren and was really excited to try their Hazy Pale Ale ‘Suspended in Cans’. I waited in suspense for the delivery to arrive and was keen to crack it open immediately. The can label design looked and felt quality (different textures and blue hues) and on opening the floral and pleasant citrus aromas were obvious. The appearance of the beer was up there with the very best for me, a light pale hazy yellow with a white head on pouring. On tasting, the beer was hoppy with lovely floral citrus flavours (grape and mandarin) but balanced extremely well with a smooth subtle bitterness in a body that had a great feel to it (felt absolute class). Making things more interesting each can has a gyle number on the bottom as the Siren Brewery tweak the hop profile of each batch so you can check on there website which blend was used in your can. For instance this was ‘Suspended in Amarillo’ using amarillo, mandarina and azzaca hops. This for me adds even more interest to the beer. A fantastic, smooth, easy drinking, hazy pale ale at 4% that tasted and felt absolute quality. A cracker!
Up there with the best for me so far. A must!
Highly Recommended!
